Mel Shaw, President and Creative Director, is involved in the creation, production and marketing of all recording, television and live projects for MSMP.

Mel Shaw has a significant background in the music business. His experience and knowledge of the history of the ever changing recording industry includes television production, artist management, national promotion for Quality Records in Canada and as President of MWC Records. He has done significant work on behalf of the recording industry and has been acknowledged with music industry awards and recognition. He is the Founding President of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and a member of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Mel is a Juno and Edison Award winning record producer and multiple Juno award nominee. He has written and composed a 'Musical' that is set for a series of cast recordings in several cities in the United States and Canada.

Fran Shaw, Managing Director and Music Publishing President is involved with the coordination of projects and music for MSMP.

Fran Shaw has a significant background in the music business. She was a co-partner in owning MWC Records, a Canadian company that had over twenty charts records and four Gold albums in the seventies. Fran was the Awards Coordinator and Event Planner for the Canadian Music Publishers Association and the Canadian Mechanical Reproduction Rights Association and their 'Celebration of Songwriters' annual awards for seven years. She coordinated the campaign logistics for the successful CMPA copyright change committee. She has been recognized for her support of songwriters with the Harris Institute for the Arts with a scholarship in her name. She is President of Fransuda Music, a music publishing company and has partnered on all recordings and television productions of MSMP.
